Walk-Through States
When an applicant has all the paperwork in order, current and active license and no encumbrances—a temporary license can be acquired by walk through or in as little as one day in “Walk-Through” states. Scroll the list below.
Per each state's individual policies, fees vary and temporary licensure may be valid for as little as eight weeks or as long as six months. Please ensure you read the requirements of the respective state where you want a walk through license. Additionally, to obtain a temporary nursing license, please contact the board of nursing in the state you are interested in working.
